What is Beefsteak?
Huse Culinary’s Beefsteak is an afternoon event steeped in tradition and full of networking, indulging in plenty of food, beverages, and – of course – basketball! Held during the first week of March Madness each year, Beefsteak is separated into men’s only and women’s only events.

It all started in 2008 at Harry & Izzy’s Downtown with just a small group of people. They got together to fill out their brackets and watch the first round of the Men’s NCAA basketball tournament while drinking beer and feasting on sliced beef tenderloin to mimic the old traditional Beefsteak banquet. Since then, the event has grown to be held on multiple days, at multiple locations, serving over 2,000 guests each year!
What is included?
Tickets include all-you-can-eat Sliced Beef Tenderloin, St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail, French Fries, and a wide variety of Beer, Wine & Cocktails included. Each guest wears the Beefsteak apron provided upon arrival for the duration of the event – it’s tradition!
Ladies’ Beefsteak also includes complimentary hair tinseling, interactive photobooth, permanent jewelry artists, mascot appearances and more!
